ZOOM AND TORNADO FIGHTER PILOT SUPPORT LAUNCH OF INNOVATIVE EMPLOYMENT INITIATIVE

NaturallyTalentedMe.com (NTM) is using the Zoom platform to launch its innovative employment profiling service at 4pm on Friday 22 May.

At a time when many businesses are facing closure, threatening to create a major unemployment crisis, this groundbreaking launch (possibly a world first), in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, marks a shift in the tide for jobseekers and businesses looking to rebuild.

The launch has been planned to embrace the new culture of online conferencing and the phenomenal rise of Zoom, who have generously given their support to the launch. The online event will last for about 40 minutes, during which time an unlimited number of attendees will be encouraged to bring their own refreshments and listen to inspirational speakers such as Tornado fighter pilot and Gulf War hostage John Peters, NTM Talent Patrons and the NTM founders, Nikki Mears and Nick Boothroyd.

NaturallyTalentedMe.com is a free to use profiling platform, which uses artificial intelligence and an intuitive and engaging Q&A based around hobbies and interests to help disadvantaged and displaced job seekers identify and promote their natural talents. By combining video, images and supporting documents, it automatically creates a three-dimensional, visual profile that highlights individuals’ full potential to employers and helps employers source and hire new talent more accurately.

John Peters said, “As a POW, at the extremes, I discovered some instinctive talents and strengths. In my business life, I frequently meet and admire people who are innately talented – not from qualification but from character – just damn good at what they do naturally. I see real benefit in people achieving a better understanding of their own strengths through the Naturally Talented Me profiling approach, and the business benefit to wanting to employ ‘the right stuff’. I’m excited to see how it can change the way employers identify and see potential.”

Nick Boothroyd said, “There has been a pressing need for a new approach to talent profiling for years; COVID-19 has made that need all the more urgent. We could have waited until after lockdown to launch, but it seemed entirely appropriate for a service that is web-based and fully accessible now to buck the trend and use this time to maximum effect.”

Nikki Mears added, “By identifying talents such as independent thinking, teamwork, problem solving, creativity and dexterity, we can help people from disadvantaged groups, such as SEND, ex-military, homeless, older workers, NEETs, ex-offenders and those displaced by COVID-19, as well as helping employers to more accurately find the attributes they need both in the job market and within their existing workforce.”

The event on 22 May will mark the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on natwestbackherbusiness.co.uk aiming to raise the funds needed to complete the development of NTM to full operational capability.
